| It all started as a conversation late in the year 2003. As is the tradition in Seattle , four college students were sitting in a coffee shop discussing ideas. While talking, one suggested the possibility of starting an organization to creatively bring different people together to address controversial issues. The dream was born. Project 2050 incorporated in the State of Washington as a not-for profit in July of 2004. Since this time, Project 2050 has presented at and collaborated with the following organizations: Bellevue Community College Bully For You! – Sherri Reed Center School @ the Seattle Center House City University Decatur High School Educational Service District 112, AmeriCorps members El Centro De La Raza, Youth Organizing Institute
